YVR Airport

Ah the airport. I am currently sitting in the YVR airport trying to pass the time until my 3:20 flight to Frankfurt. Aside from the free internet there is not really a whole bunch to do aside from the standard airport distractions. Accross from my gate a plane is boarding for Hong Kong and there is a HUGE line of people waiting to get on. The flight attendants tried to tell everyone to sit down as they board by row number, it didn't really work. No one really moved, perhaps they should have made an announcement in Chinese.

The airport has also kindly provided a television with a new program to entertain bored travellers. Sadly it appears to be several news snippets on repeat so I am now quite well informed about the situation facing same sex couples who got married in Canada, but now want to get divorced. It doesn't seem that complicated but it seems that it is a real problem because many people were not Canadian citizens choose to get married in Canada because their country would not let them. Not terribly relevant to my life.

That is really all the material I have for the moment, there is not much of interest going on inside the airport and I don't see anything incredibly interesting happening in the next 2 hours, but you never know. Maybe I will get upgraded to first class, I can only hope.

Also, if anyone has any catchy/interesting titles please let me know, I couldn't really think of anything more interesting
